    Hi there!

    Just installed your WordPress Slider Plugin and it’s exactly what I’m looking for, yet when I create a new slider and add the shortcode, I get the same think white line as the thread below:

    http://muneeb.me/support/topic/showing-thin-white-box/

    What this ever resolved?

    You can see it here in Chrome, Firefox & Safari: http://mrta.alicographics.com/explore-manitoba-trails/crow-wing-trail/

    Thanks!

    Hi Tracey,

    The shortcode Javascript output is being corrupted with the HTML p tags. The slider is created by that javascript code if it’s not working for some reason then the thin line is shown. Please use your browser view source tool and check the line 323. It’s most of the times a theme issue or wpautop being used incorrectly.

    Please use this PHP function muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes() in your theme functions.php file it might solve the problem.

    Thanks

    I have the same problem. I paste the following code at the end of the functions.php file and it doesn’t work.

    if ( function_exists( ‘muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes’ ) )
    muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes();

    Is there is anything that I am doing wrong, or I miss a step?

    Dayana,

    The problem on your site is the JS errors please remove those errors and my plugin will start working. I’m also posting here the JS errors on your site this might help you.

    Hi Muneeb,

    I checked the inspect element tool in Chrome, and I also added the fucntion:

    if ( function_exists( ‘muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes’ ) )
    muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes();

    to my fucntions.php file but nothing seemed to work.

    I then tried another plugin called Orbit (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-orbit-slider/faq/), inserted the shortcode into my page and your slider showed up! I like the look of your slider more so I’m wondering how I can fix this. As soon as I delete the Orbit slider, yours deletes too.

    You can see what this looks like here: http://mrta.alicographics.com/explore-manitoba-trails/crow-wing-trail/

    I’m not much of a developer, but a designer, so I’m not experienced at editing code. Will I need to hire a developer to do this for me?

    Thanks!

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for developing this awesome slider Muneeb. It looks really great and I can’t wait to use it. However, I’m running into the same problems as posted above. It might be a theme issue, but I can’t seem to locate the problem. I’ve added the fixes-function to functions.php but the white line remains.
    What could be going wrong? Is it a jquery issue with my theme perhaps?

    this is the website: en.showraum.de

    Thanks!

    Just want to say first that the slider on your look very beautiful I found out the cause and yes it’s a theme issue. The issue is your theme or some other plugin is loading the old version of jquery( version 1.4.2) through google and my plugin does not work with that old version of jquery so to make my plugin work on your site you need to modify your theme to load recent version of jquery.

    I apologize for the above, that was meant for a different forum.

    I am having this basic issue where it isn’t showing the content. In my case, I’m trying to use the HTML and it doesn’t show the content. In looking at the code, to me it looks like it’s still trying to load it as image slides. I tried using image slides and they work.

    I wonder if the last update wasn’t loaded into WP correctly, as in the change log it says you fixed the issue where the editor doesn’t show up when you switch from image to html, and mine still has that ‘issue.’ Once the slide is closed and opened again, you see the editor.

    No problem I deleted that post, I re-tested and I can see the editor but it’s just text area where you can paste the HTML code and then when you’ll save the slider you’ll get WSIWYG visual editor it’s programmed to function like this.

    In the free version the default skin does not support HTML slide types only image slide types are supported so to use HTML in the slides please purchase the premium version of the plugin it has an HTML skin.

    Thank You

    Hi, I’m using localhost to set up my site. Not sure how to show you what’s happening. But basically is showing the thin white line.
    - I’ve uploaded the images,
    - added: // declare slider
    if ( function_exists( ‘muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes’ ) )
    muneeb_ssp_slider_fixes(); to funcitons.php file
    - On my home page I’ve used:

    My jquery is 1.7
    I am using ACF plugin

    Is there something else I could do to try and make it show?
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Eugenia
